Thank you to everyone who voted to transform Mississippi’s criminal justice system and tothe Color Of Change PAC members for sending nearly 7,000 text messages to Black voters in Natchez. The outcome of this race will have a profound impact on the lives of Black people in Adams, Amite, Franklin, and Wilkinson Counties, and we look forward to a more just and equitable Mississippi as a result.

Shameca Collins is currently the Natchez City prosecutor and is committed to restoring integrity to the Sixth Judicial District Attorney’s office.
As District Attorney, Collins will:
- Stand up to police misconduct
- Treat addiction as a medical issue
- Treat victims with respect and sensitivity
- Ensure that the law applies equally to all residents
- Create alternatives to incarceration for people convicted of non-violent offenses

Election Day is August 6th, 2019. Polls are open 7:00am - 7:00pm.

A current US passport
A current employee ID card issued by any agency of the US government, State of Mississippi, or local government unit in Mississippi
A current student ID card containing a photograph issued by an accredited institution of higher education in Mississippi
A current US military ID card
A valid tribal ID card containing a photograph
A current and valid Mississippi license to carry a gun
