Joseph Biden

For President of the United States

Donald Trump has failed as President. Whether its his racist rhetoric and policies, or his never-ending series of lies designed to protect his reelection campaign, Trump continues to endanger Black lives and our livelihoods. He has refused to take responsibility for the spread of coronavirus, and continues to do little to support us. When Trump’s recession began, he failed to stand up for hard-working Black Americans, and now we’re facing historic job losses. He didn’t even include us in his relief plan. His disregard for Black people isn’t new. Donald Trump has been spewing hate and inciting violence against Black people for decades. He’ll never change.

This year we have the opportunity to end the most dangerous presidency of our time by voting Donald Trump out of office and electing Joesph Biden as President of the United States.

Joe Biden has spent nearly his entire life in public service. For more than 8 years, he served with integrity as our vice president. He stood shoulder to shoulder with President Obama in the fight for racial justice, economic justice, and the expansion of healthcare coverage to millions. Biden has proven he will get things done for our community.

As President, Joe Biden will do what Donald Trump has failed to do by working hard to stop the spread of coronavirus. The coronavirus is hitting Black communities especially hard, both in terms of our health and our economic well being. Biden will prioritize getting everyone the quality healthcare they need, and make sure no one is left out of the financial recovery. He is the only candidate actually invested in dismantling systemic racism with systemic solutions.

Biden is running a comprehensive agenda to root out systemic racism from our laws, our policies, and our institutions. Among these efforts, he plans to:

  • Advance the economic mobility of Black Americans and close the racial wealth and income gaps.
  • Make far-reaching investments in ending health disparities by race.
  • Expand access to high-quality education and tackle racial inequity in our education system.
  • Make the right to vote and the right to equal protection real for Black voters.
  • Seek environmental justice by addressing environmental burdens that disproportionately harm Black and low-income communities.

Joe Biden, and his running partner Kamala Harris, are the leaders we can count on to fight for our rights and make meaningful investments in our community. They have strong records of advancing racial justice and holding the Trump administration accountable for its failures.
