Debbie Mucarsel-Powell

U.S. Rep. 26th District of FL

Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D) is the first woman to represent Florida’s 26th congressional district. The district covers all of Monroe County as well as a portion of south-west Miami-Dade County.

Rep. Mucarsel-Powell is running for re-election to continue leading as a champion for gun safety, health care, immigration reform, the environment, and human rights. She believes we must give people a fair chance by focusing on growing the economy, paying workers a living wage, and making college affordable.

As our representative, she will continue prioritizing:

  • Gun policy reform, including universal background checks
  • Expanding access to public education
  • Healthcare protections for Medicare and the Affordable Care Act
  • A tax system that helps small businesses and hard-working people get ahead
  • Expansion of policies to support families, including paid maternity leave, child care, and protection of reproductive freedom.
  • Paths to citizenship for those who need it most
